Atmosphere controlled lift bottom furnaces are used in applications such as manufacturing of metal products, heat-treatment, sintering, melting, aging, thermal testing, powder synthesizing and chemical decomposition, where a protective environment is required within the furnaces to achieve the desired products.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

Atmosphere controlled lift bottom furnace is preferred for where a protective environment is required such as manufacturing of metal products, heat-treatment, sintering, melting, ageing, thermal testing, powder synthesizing. As a result of these requirements, MSE has been designed and produced atmosphere controlled lift bottom furnace to make heat treatment under the protective atmospheric conditions such as argon, nitrogen, vacuum, hydrogen and the like.

MSE Furnace uses also cylindrical atmosphere cabins which are more stable than other geometries for atmosphere controlled lift-bottom furnace according to process. In addition, atmosphere controlled furnaces are water-cooled. So, water cooling system pressure, cabin temperature, internal atmospheric pressure, intelligent systems are monitored by the user to make the process is safe. The adjustable gas flow meter, high-pressure relief system, overtemperature alarm and vacuum pump are integrated into the furnace as standard. Lift bottom enables heavy and large samples to be placed more easily on the bottom of the furnace.

The heating cabin of the furnace consists of graphite heating elements and graphite insulation materials selected according to the temperature and application type. Atmosphere controlled lift bottom furnaces by consists of graphite elements provide the ideal conditions for working with the oxygen-free condition and metal samples.

APPLICATION NOTES

For the maximum life of the furnace and the longer use of the furnace equipment, we recommend that the heating rate of 10°C/min. But this furnace can provide faster than 10 °C/min heating and fast cooling. Flammable and explosive products must not be used in the furnace.

If there is oxygen in the furnace graphite materials will burn. Because of that if the furnace temperature is over 200 °C, the furnace lid must not be opened. The lid of the furnace is not suitable, to open at temperatures above 200 °C.

The flowmeter which is included the furnace is manual but also not high sensitivity. For the higher sensitive ones please get in touch. The hydrogen gas can be used inside the furnace. Please contact us for hydrogen gas usage. Gas, water source, furnace connections and connection equipment are to customers responsibility.

The vacuum pump is included in the system, for the purpose of purging the air. Vacuum pump doesn’t provide high vacuum condition. Please, you can contact us for high vacuum condition.
